What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Outing, but a bit differently

Normally, and your probably sick of it by now, where there is photos of me having coffee or dinners out, maybe with a friend.
But this outing was almost very MANLY (had we not been out numbered by women)
So anyway.....

I went with friends for a walk.
3 hours climbing through the bush and we stopped over night at a tramping hut.
It was very manly, rough, tough time, we had to take our own food, cooker and all the other gear (10kg in my backpack) but I did take some girl sports leggings to relax in.

While at the hut, we had a total count of 4 guys and 8 women (okay so out doors, living hard, is more of a chicks thing), anyway, it ended up we all had sports leggings.
I thought I was being edgy and cross dressing, turns out it's not true, all these years I was trend setting.

Upps wasn't me

Nearly 2 weeks in boy mode, starting to get frustrated at everything, so decided to have a bit of girl time.

Wife wants a marquee from the hardware for a couple of late Autumn parties for the kids, and I figure I'll use my wagon. If you remember I finally told my oldest daughter about my dressing a few weeks ago (no I don't have the balls to tell my wife that she knows -yet).

So I open the door to go to the wagon that she has borrowed off me, and her BFF is standing outside my door about to knock. Well I said hello, advised her my oldest was in her room and continued on my way to buy the marquee (also may as well have dinner out while I'm dressed nicely).

My camera auto focus works as I push the button, so moving my arm and leaning back before the self timer works, leaves me with an out of focus photo. The flat battery also means I can't use the flash - sorry girls but that's the best i can do for you today.

BUT..........
2 hours girl time has really revitalized me, so happy now :)

Wife's coming back

Her flight lands in a few hours, so I'll have to change back to man mode soon (after I vacuum the house), and I'll probably have to stay in man mode for a few days.
It's been a good trip for her, reconnecting with family and we have all been in contact most evenings and mornings thanks to the internet (sure beats sending letters like we used to).

In the mean time, I've played "Mr Mum" to my 4 girls.
I found out I'm very good at playing the female role -
went to work, got home cleaned, cooked, cleaned again, prepared school lunches. Next day same again, maybe grocery shop, maybe mow lawns, maybe have family outing.

I tried to dress appropriately :)

Saturday, super fun catch up with Josie

This week has been fun girl week, shopping, movies and today a catch up with my girlfriend Josie.
I love our catch up days as I'm normally busy in my world and don't have much time to keep track of her world, but during catch up, I get the Readers Digest version of really cool stuff without having to put on my maths head to worry about the numbers.

So Josie gave me a birthday lunch before we went shopping and a beach stroll

Fun few days

MONDAY
Coffee and a quick shop for a weeks groceries for me and my 4 girls. I was in such a hurry to get back and Skype with wife that I didn't notice the background. I get home and all 4 were in the living room (including miss 23) commenting on how good I looked.

I've got great girls even if their eye sight is not that good.

TUESDAY
Got in early to buy my movie ticket to see "Mothers Day", a fun girl movie. Before the movie I had to ask another lady to move as this cinema has allocated seating and while I wouldn't have minded if she sat on my lap, I had still chosen the seat that I wanted to sit in. Before that fun little drama, which others helped me resolve, I popped in to the coffee shop next door.
Thanks to the lovely staff of both for taking these photos for me.

Finally told my oldest daughter

On Oldest Daughter (miss 23)
If your reading this my darling wife, everything is fine at home and miss 23 has had plenty of support from the other girls.
Well after a week of walking around the house in tights and girl tops she asks why I'm so into those clothes. I tell her the truth (miss 18 tells me after wards, that she knew I would while mum was away).  The next day she had a conversation about my sexuality with Miss 18, who also told the truth and re-enforced my suggestion that we only talk about it inside the family. So this weekend has been great although rules are no make up, no skirts, no wigs allowed to be worn inside the house when miss 23 is around for a few weeks.
                                                          **********************
Sunday and another 10 minute make over, finally found eye liner & decided to do a formal evening look even though it's pre-dawn.
Red heavily rubberized tights and flowing black top - Miss 17's top, miss 18 owns the grey version and I was advised I needed to by the Burgundy if I wanted to share tops with them. Even got my hair tied back so I can have my morning coffee without my hair in it.
Unfortunately after my coffee and reading the paper, my nose started running (hay fever my doctor says and the only cure is to move to Australia). So by 7 am I have fantastic make up everywhere except under my nose, where the facial hair is still dark and has yet to grey like my chin hairs. Life is so unfair.
After morning coffee, my wife messaged me she wanted to Skype me in 20 minutes. I went to my very local supermarket for bread and a few other items, had a lovely quick chat to one of the regular checkout girls about the horrible automatic checkouts.
A quick change in my car and got home in time to Skype my wife.
She is having lots of fun spoiling all the children and babies of the extended family, I wish I was there with her but in the mean time I'm spoiling all our young adults.
Life is much more fun as you get older.
