Nothing new to do :(

So just another coffee in a Kookai dress my size 8 daughter gave me. It's very restrictive, stretchy and fun. This dressing up is starting (after 50+ years), to get a bit boring (again). I really need a different pass time, wonder how hard it is to get into paragliding?

Makeup Ban

I've been banned from wearing makeup over Christmas as we have lots of conservative people in the house over the last couple of weeks who will be here for another 2 weeks. Unfortunately it's created a large financial issue as they eat their way through all the expensive dairy stuff even though they have bought some rice and bread (1kg of cheese is the same price of about 5kg of rice, but 5kg of rice isn't eaten in 3 days).

Anyway, having a full house is what's causing the makeup ban - not that makeup really makes me any more presentable but I do feel younger for wearing it.

when your daughter gives you a dress

I thoroughly enjoyed wearing the new dress my daughter gave me after deciding she didn't want it and couldn't return it (that's the reason I bought the pink one during Black Friday sales that we share).

What she didn't tell me was..... that after about 12 steps the static makes the dress cling to everything from waist downwards .....and I wasn't wearing the correct underwear for that - not that it stopped me from coffee or Christmas shopping. Make up also felt more optional than requirement.

The next day I was better prepared as I stopped at a pub for a drink and then Sal's pizza for dinner.

 

Saturday eventually arrived and I was feeling in a more - miniskirt mood. I'm a bit upset I don't really have enough tops or even skirts, yet wife still wants to unclutter and put a lot of clothes into our basement storage so our chest of draws isn't overflowing.

The week started off well with a dinner with Jan at a Thai restaurant. I took the photo before she got there as I wanted to see how the new dress I co-own with daughter was looking (better on her than me, but she does have youth on her side, and gender).

Afterwards we went to a local beach as I wanted an interesting backdrop for more photos

I'm not fond of my wig anymore so I purchased 2 others, which arrived today. I also washed my wig and used fabric conditioner, which now looks like a new wig. The two new wigs looked great on the models, but after trying them on, I found I loved the colour but they went straight into the bin as I really need a fringe.

Today, I pretty much had a whole day to myself to do whatever I wanted. Spent 2 hours playing with my drone, put up a trellis, mowed the lawns. Just wasn't in the mood for girl time :(

Nearly a month

 I've been a little busy and quite frankly not in the mood to be Rachel for nearly a month.

But in the last couple of days, probably made up for the lack of interest in dressing and relaxing.

Still got Christmas shopping to do, and Black Friday saw the mall packed.

My dark brown wig is rapidly approaching it's best before by date, so starting to enjoy my black wig that my daughters say suits me better.

I've just bought a beautiful new (ruby smocked midi) dress for $139 from Decjuba. I never normally pay over $50 but since enjoying my oldest girls nice clothes, I decided to splash out on something nice. I would show you how pretty it is but it's not even a day old yet and currently being warn by one of my girls (I hope I look half a pretty in it).

Okay, so my daughter took her clothes to her new accommodation.

While rummaging through my "go bag" I discovered her red dress still inside it from my last outing. 

This was a nice surprise and since I had Friday off work, I decided to wear it one last time

For Brunch at Newmarket shopping center (okay, one photo was a bit quick for me to strike a pose - because sometimes I'm not perfect)

A late lunch at Sylvia Park, getting new hiking shoes and a new SD card for my gopro. That's another story about another daughter who thought her SD card was fault, binned it and stole mine.

Heading home, I decided one last coffee after a lovely day out

Sunday, I get to see my girls (and partners) at a family dinner, so I've bagged her dress and intend to return it to her then, because I know what it's like to look for a favorite dress and find an empty coat hanger where it used to be and then chase down the girls to find out who borrowed it.

SUNDAY - one last photoshoot before the dress is returned.

Wife thought I was crazy, but I think she enjoyed me "playing a maid", getting me vacuuming under the couch etc.

Bugger.....

For two weeks, I've enjoyed my daughters wardrobe, but now she has found a place closer to work and has taken all her clothes.

Last week (before she took her clothes) I went out for coffee

And some more coffee 

And then a walk around Silverdale mall and some more coffee

I so love this dress, it's so light and soft, it's almost like not wearing anything at all and loved how it shaped around my boobs

Eventually I had to buy groceries, but decided on checking out another mall, having dinner there and then picking up groceries. When I eventually got home, wife says "Hello mister make up", I was so sure I got most off but it did make me slightly self conscious when the neighbour called me over to share some local news.

It was going to be "one of those days"

My sore knee (the one I damaged 30 years ago parachuting and more recently re-damaged on a mountain hike) woke me up early. Add to that the thought of working a stressful 10 hour day and I was in need of a good relaxing coffee at McDonalds Ellerslie before work. The day went south very quickly, but I had planned for it and that hour relaxing got me in a good frame of mind for the shit that was about to happen.

Suzzie just happened by McDonalds at the same time I was there. If anyone sees me around, don't be shy, say "Hi", I don't bite - promise, and if you see me on my device, I'm just reading the daily news and happy to put it down for a fun chat.

Okay, a fun fact, my oldest daughter has moved in temporarily and brought ALL her clothes AND said we could wear them, so....

During the week, I had dinner out a Sylvia Park.

I also visited Newmarket shopping center and grabbed some groceries earlier in the week

I know, very much the same as the other dress, daughter probably got a buy one get one half price or something, but the material feels really nice and I love how snug they are around my chest.

Oh, I also had brunch in Pukekohe the other day.

Ummm... time to check her wardrobe again to see what else I can wear out 😀

Beer & burger

 I'm not really into those flash restaurants, just a good beer and burger is enough for me.

I really wanted another excuse to wear my stocking (Kmart silky sheer stay up for $7), I just love the feel. It's funny that men think you wear a certain thing to influence a man into certain action, but really women wear stuff to suit themselves most often.

 

Been house sitting in Wellington

It's been 5 days of relaxing and touring with the wife while in Wellington looking after a house with dogs.

It was a much needed break from the mundane grind (re plastered a basement wall since getting back to Auckland, it was stripped to fit a waterproof membrane on the retaining wall behind it).

I did manage to get a bit of shopping done and after returning I even managed a dinner with Jan.
