Fun extra long weekend

Starts early on Thursday morning for me, with coffee and scone at Columbus Coffee shop. I don't know how, with so many customers, regardless of which shop I visit, most staff remember my preferred coffee. I didn't really think people would remember me amongst the masses 😂

Oh exciting, Auckland CD Group has politely requested to add my blog to their "link" list, apparently I'm inspiring (I'm actually only trying to be me, but I'll take whatever compliment is on offer). I do like polite people. I'm not really a group type person, I wouldn't mind joining a "mens shed", wonder if they allow crossdressers on lathes, metal folders, drill presses, welding gear? Probably not with my long synthetic wigs, besides, they don't make high heel safety shoes in a size 43 that I'm aware of.

Back home and changed into boy mode, did my usual house chores - mow lawns, clean the BBQ, waterblast cleaned parts of the house.

But I'm not one to return a pretty dress to early, so time to get changed again but with a 5 o'clock shadow (actually 4.30 o'clock shadow) and too lazy to do more than foundation and lipstick, I threw on my oldest wig and I decided another coffee and a bit of grocery shopping was required. The mall was quite busy and full of school kids in uniforms, yet only one group of high school boys found my presence interesting for about 2 or 3 seconds before they got on with what they were doing before seeing me.

I had this next photo all geared up for you.
I had an almost empty isle so I hit the 5 second self timer, and what did I get for it, a super fast lady racing down the isle and in front of the camera (do I look impressed)...Grrrrrr.
Okay, so lets try that again and hopefully everyone else is browsing the shelfs slowly and not racing past

SATURDAY and time to explore a bit, decided to hit North Head tunnels for a bit of photo fun (just wish I had a photographer and maybe someone with a reflector panel - is that asking too much?)

All that walking and posing is thirsty work, time for a lunch stop at 277 Broadway shopping center and checking out a few more clothes. White outfit was $30 on special at Farmers, unfortunately pay day is still 2 weeks away.

I agree about the white dress, it's cheapness attracted me.
