What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Impatience

Yesterday after work, I had my eye brows shaped at a local shopping mall beauty shop. Later in the evening I "Borrowed" Miss 18 fancy nail polish from the USA. Miss 13 trying to be a professional make up artist applied it. It's really nice and I want to show off and never take it off - so love it :)

Today it's meant to be raining and wife was lifting Miss 18 between parties until some ungodly time in the morning, so I should have been able to get quite a few girl hours in.
I got up at 6.30, make up on and at McDonalds for an early morning coffee by 7 am. The girls there are really nice to me and she sneaked a few marsh mellows in to my drink and made it look extra fancy. Such great girls there, probably why it's a regular coffee stop for me and my wife.

BUT... It's a lovey sunny morning and I couldn't stop thinking about my wife and wanting to get home to be there with a cup of tea and biscuits for when she woke up after such a broken night for her (yes I slept through all the phone calls and "lifting"). While I want to have fun with her today, my guess is she will have me finish the balustrade by building a fancy gate

Before I added the roof
For years we never used this area

After I added the roof and fitted the refurbished balustrade, with many of the spindles having to be extended as they used to be on a stairwell
This area now gets a lot of use, even though it's winter and rainy. Just need a gate built and fitted to keep the dog in.
I love building stuff in my boy time

On the way home I picked up some bread & milk (and biscuits) for everyone's breakfast, please don't tell wife that I went to our local supermarket - where someone we might have known, might have been there at 8 am, while dressed in maroon top and shiny black pants.

Hi Rachel. I still follow your blog. My partner is away for a couple of days so I can get in a some quality Anneke time. I've bought some nice black dress shoes with a good heel, a bargain dress from Farmers only $30 and some new black tights. Also a new wig which I think suits and fits me better. So tomorrow and Wednesday I hope to get out and about. Exciting. Anneke.
