I'm not really into those flash restaurants, just a good beer and burger is enough for me.

It's been 5 days of relaxing and touring with the wife while in Wellington looking after a house with dogs.
It was a much needed break from the mundane grind (re plastered a basement wall since getting back to Auckland, it was stripped to fit a waterproof membrane on the retaining wall behind it).
I did manage to get a bit of shopping done and after returning I even managed a dinner with Jan.
Excuse the photos, phone camera was playing up
Go to work, go home, sleep, go to work, go home ..repeat
The only break, is when I get half an hour for coffee or shopping (I really do need new clothes) or an hour for dinner.
I take that back, I've joined a gym and done 3 sessions so far, regaining quite a bit of strength after Covid and I do manage to get quite a bit of time for sailing
Had a busy week and over the weekend rebuilt a friends shed. After a early Sunday coffee I headed to Mitre 10 for some wood trim to finish the rebuild.
Normally my days routinely boring, often the most exciting thing is picking up some groceries like last Tuesday. Got wine, peanut butter, some Jalapenos for some dip I was making, milk, cat and dog food etc.
Friday I was scheduled to do some house / dog sitting for my son-in-law, but having a couple of hours to kill, I decided to check out some clothes at the local shopping center and have dinner in the food court.
I enjoyed a Yorkshire roast meal (potatoes, beef and lots of gravy).
This is where I found regret, regret that I didn't buy this lovely dress. I thought long and hard, but it turns out as I had thought it, I probably wouldn't go anywhere posh enough to wear such a dress.
