What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Make up

When I was younger (like 30+ years ago), I used to use conceller, foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip stick. Sometimes I would redden my cheek bones with lipstick or blush. Sometimes my make up would be bought, sometimes a daughter might have gotten the wrong colour and gifted it to me (they were fussy) and at one stage a client (part time actress) gave me quite a bit of her surplus stock of Thin Lizzy. I did love "Natural Glow" as advertised by Suzanne Paul.

My skin is getting older and drier now, the makeup seems flatter and I'm wishing I still had a tub of Natural Glow to give a shine to my skin.

I don't wear much makup on most of my outings, a quick slap of foundation, mascara and lipstick. It's annoying my wife always calls me "panda eyes" when I try to remove the mascara. It's also annoying that my coffee girls know my order even if I turn up in "boy" mode a month after my last visit (as I found out after returning from Europe). I know I'm easily recognised in either mode, the wig doesn't throw anybody off.

Anyway, this hallow weekend was also a birthday party weekend, and I was tasked with getting the helium ballons and cake. Oh yes - no make up otherwise I would get questioned by 30 others once I got back home, but lets just say, some cars aren't made for 30 ballons, which was lucky as they are $2.5 each and took quite a while for staff to inflate.

Imagine that, a crossdresser with a car chocka full of helium ballons

At the cake shop, the guy accidently put my phone to video mode - that created a scary video, so I'll just grab this image 😀

It didn't mean there's no time for coffee during the pick ups.

I did ask wife and kids if I should dress as a witch for halloween, they laughted and said - "already done that".

One of the girls had a horrid run-in with a house owner, told my grandkid "his mum needs to kiss him for a lolly" - luckily my grandkid is smart and walked away. Maybe I could use my knuckes to "kiss him"?

Oh yes, the weathers improved and the sun has given us a bit of spring warmth, my grass seeds have been sown and a new layer of topdressing applied to the lawn, a new retaining wall is being built and I need to pick up more timber to complete it.
Adding the photo, I should mention this tight top my wife discretely got for me is now in the bin. It was the biggest size in the shop.

Anyway - need more wood (and stainless screws, and cement) from the hardware.
