What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Quiet weekend

Obviously no sailing with the weather being totally yuk (rain and strong cold southerly blowing).

I have an old, cheap foundation, the sort you buy when your not too serious about crossdressing. It gives me pimples. Anyway got up, couldn't be bothered shaving, put on that foundation, eye liner, mascara and went out for a coffee. After that I returned home, made wife her morning coffee, took my car to the garage for repairs and dog to the groomers. Getting back, wife wanted to go shopping and have lunch out with me. So instead of removing makeup with a few hours, it's turned out I wore makeup all day. Watch this space for a week of pimples.

Earlier in the week, I had taken my car for it's Warrant of Fitness (annual safety check). It failed on brake pads and brake rotors. I was tempted to save $60 and do it myself, but it's only a 10% saving after the cost of parts and I had other things to do with my time.

Coffee after mechanics

I did get about an hour to do a bit of shopping and during a supermarket trip the following day, had an elderly lady eyeballing me as if to say (in grumpy old lady tones) "I know your a man" - I just made eye contact and smiled at her.

Love reading your blog and your adventures each week, I myself don't get the time to do a blog also my wife would loose the plot if I did.

Probably a time when mine would have as well, but I think people mellow as they get older. Wife just recently asked when did I put pink nail polish on - just on dusk as we were not planning on visiting anyone this evening :)
