Coldest day this year (so far anyway), snow on the Port Hills Christchurch. Apparently, we had only 7 degrees (44 for Americans). I do remember my youth, having minus 2, but I think with age, I feel it more now.
So it's thick stocking during my coffee just after sunrise.
I'm enjoying my perfume, never really got into it earlier, but Pretty by Elizbeth Arden is very nice to wear.
A gentleman held the door so his wife and myself could enter the shop, some humans are just so nice.
Not much in todays newspaper, so coffee stop was only about 35 minutes, then I decided to go home as I want to cook bacon, egg and beans for our breakfast for when my wife wakes up.
I got home and realized it was the perfect time to photograph our new garden. it was just a 10 meter slope, but now it has 2 levels. I finished the stairs yesterday, and my back muscles were twinging me awake at 5am (and the shouting cat in the kitchen didn't help me get back to sleep).
I think a couple of dry days, and the lower section will be good for soccer practice with the grandkids.
I did manage to get to the movies earlier this week to see Tom Cruise do his thing.
And I actually shared a picture from my youth, with a viewer who also enjoys being up in the sky - yes I had a mustache in the 1980's and yes parachuting is a heck of a lot of fun (okay, not sure why Ton Cruise prefers his chutes on fire - 16 times for his latest movie).
Anyway, off to cook breakfast in the pink dress (my daughter and I went 50/50 shares in buying) and stocking, hope you've had a great week.
