What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Nice long weekend.

Not a bad way to start the year - a 5 day week followed by a long weekend

Relaxing at the beach, wading, playing in the waves, watching the sharks swim past (just kidding, they were all on the eastern beaches).

It's been a few hard weeks fixing wife's and daughters cars and prepping (service and clean) one of the girls cars to sell. I did get to enjoy a few hours at Pick-a-Part wreckers, where I got a functioning 2 stage radiator fan for wife's car, an ignition coil for one daughters car, replacement head lamp for my car. While I love my OBD2 blue tooth interface, I've had to download several apps as no one app will talk to all the cars.

I've finally finished one of my upper gardens, I've had it planned out 8 years ago, 4 years ago I got spare soil from a lower garden and leveled it, but then life just got too busy for a while. I've got 5 separate garden areas and this garden while the most visible our efforts were on the other more usable gardens. Wife wasn't too keen about me adding my vegetables into her flower garden, but I've added them to as filler or backdrops to her flowers.

It's been quite hot, indeed enough to not bother with make up.  I just wish there were more shops with air conditioning (Bunnings had their fans on high which was always trying to lift my dress). I did feel a little invisible with the orange top on the McDonalds orange seats.
