What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Movies

I used to enjoy Naked Gun, so wife let me out to see the new version. But first, dinner at Subway.

Of course I can't be bothered with makeup - I'm too old for it to make me look beautiful. I'm not sure what it is about crossdressing, but I find so many people chatting to me that never happens to me when I'm in boy mode - maybe males are more intimidating or deemed to be best left alone?

Anyway, 20 minutes to movie time, after a very physical day ripping out a hedge and replanting (and not drinking enough water), I decided to re-hydrate with a beer. Really, I think after the movie, I should have hydrated with 6 beers, then maybe it would have been funny. Maybe I'm too old (again), maybe there's nothing new in the movie

Anyway - speaking of movies - Wife and I just watched "last take - the RUST documentary (you know - the Alex Baldwin movie). I cried - absolutely no winners with that incident.

I have two opinions on the incident,

One - everyone needs to see the Doco.

Two - everyone should see the movie, to support Halyna Hutchins work, to support all those effected by the incident (actors, crew etc).

What else happened this week?

At some point, we had a rainy day (I love this PVC jacket and skirt on rainy days, almost makes me waterproof)

And at some point I needed something from the hardware shop - and a coffee.

Oh, Saturday morning - I had a list of things to do today and woke up early for a bit of girl time before breaking out the sanding machines and paint tins etc (not going to do that in girls clothes ever again).

Anyway, headed to Greenlane McDonalds at 6am, but they are renovating with a guy painting the ceiling - I don't like the thought of paint on my girl clothes (think I mentioned that earlier), so visited the Balmoral McDonalds on the way home (still far enough away to keep wife - umm happy???).

Blood donor

SATURDAY  9th

While the days are sunny, the 4 degree starts are still a bit chilly, but warms up to about 13 degrees during the day.

Just to show you what it was like this morning, I snapped this photo.

I've been enjoying my womens size 12 jeans all week, and wife says they look nice.

Monday 11th

Anyway - how does a crossdresser give blood, first name, age, address, then height and weight (that bit wasn't nice, but neither was the Age question). I'm glad they didn't need to know my gender 😁
The next part, it to pretend to be classy - this is me trying to be classy...

Then staying 10 minutes for "monitoring" with a free coffee and biscuits and chatting to the other donors.

I've been building a service station (must not forget the ambulance or police) for Master 5 for his cars. A visit to the model shop and rummage around their second hand figurines was a treat

finally shaved my legs (and everything below my neck)

Yep, looks like we are going to get warmer weather soon, it was up to 4 degrees this morning. I'm still in stocking, but only bra, undies and long knitted jumper/dress. Initially when I got dressed, I went with fishnet stockings, but it was just a bit drafty for that.

Shopping day - decided I needed new jeans, so hit the shops.

Found a tight slip dress at The Warehouse on sale for $14. I loved what the square neck line did for my boobs, but less impressed when I saw the rest of my shape :(
I did think about buying it and cutting it down to a nice top, but I have a laundry to renovate so no time for clothes alterations.

I did find jeans I liked, tight around the butt and a straight cut on the legs. I decided the "skinny jeans" while it felt lovely, like a second skin, a more mature cut was the looks I was after.

As usual - I bought a new top and want to wear it all the time. As to the brown wig, I thing it's time for it to go in the bin 😔

The jeans are a gift from one of my daughters, the others say she always had a strange sense of fashion.

Tuesday it was hosing down all over the country. I decided since I forgot a jacket, I'll wear something a bit water resistant - PVC of course, which just had the rain bouncing off me.

PVC is always OTT and a couple of young girls at McDonalds also thought so (or I missed a really good joke). Still it was a busy day at work and my first food at 5pm.

I thought the PVC was a bit much for picking up bread and cat food from the supermarket, so back into my new red top.

Over the last few weekends, when I found a bit of spare time from work, wife's gardening, I decided to build something for master 5 and his matchbox cars. I intend to go to the model shop soon and pick up some grass, trees and people for the toy.

Wednesday
 - I've got my PVC dress ready for the big rain - that had stopped before I even woke up, okay so it's plan B outfit for breakfast

And by lunch time it was too hot for stockings so switched into cooler pants and top.
Rest of the week and weekend was a blur of family activity and I just need some sleep before work
