What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

And my daughter says...

I got home a little late today.

Daughter noticed I was wearing make up when I got home (especially my wifes expensive mascara that she stole a few weeks ago that I recently recovered).

She says.. "are you dressing at work like .........(a trans lady I know)?"

I explained 30 minutes today was my only real opportunity to really relax and it's been way too hot to dress as much as I would like. I really did want an excuse to wear wifes dress, it's tight and stretchy around the chest and lose everywhere else and while I only have a C cup and that's enough for me, it's fun to have a tight top.

It was only 30 minutes as I knew daughter would want help with her babies (she's finding being at home with babies stressful so I like to help)

Fun long weekend

First I got away for a night with my wife, visited Mangawhai, checked out their markets where wife bought 2 pretty new dresses and a skirt (she doesn't want to share them just yet, but the skirt fits me well and is very light and silky). We had a lovely lunch at the pub relaxing to some good old country music with a whiskey in my hand - what could be better.

Next night I meet up with Jan for a couple of glasses of wine and a chat (no music this time and the restaurant was almost empty, covid scaring everyone away still or everyone left the city for a 3 day break)

Sorry no photos of either outings but this morning, after a bad sleep, panicking about the torrential rain seeping under the roof line and dripping into our bedroom - I did get out for coffee and since I was by myself - phone camera wasn't distracting me from company.

After a 7am coffee and feeling the skirt was a bit short, I got changed and headed to Bunnings for stuff to patch up my leaking roof - todays job, in the rain. Oh, I also washed my nice white top with my red dress, nice white top no longer white 😠

vaccine magnatism

So this morning - 5am, I wake up due to my sore shoulder, that after 5 weeks is still no better (although I did 30 minutes of kayaking the other day which probable set back the recovery).

But I'm kinda thinking about the magnetism thing as I have my wife stuck on almost on top of me on one side and 9 or so inches on the other side of me, I have a cat stuck to me. It seems to happen at about 2 am every morning leaving me feeling very claustrophobic.

Anyway, by 6am I've had an hour to think about it and I'm over being pinned down and decide to go an get a coffee before anyone else wakes up. I'm feeling a bit naughty (and who doesn't at that time) so dress relaxed but with a bit less material than normal.

I'm hoping your having an equally fun and relaxed day.

When your out with a friend and just not worried about anything

Out with a friend and so relaxed, I was just me and not about trying to be glam.

We spent a couple of hours chatting over a lovely meal out at an Indian restaurant (isn't it always the way when your friends meal tastes nicer than the one your ordered)

The next morning, I had to head out early, luckily the great people at my hotel helped with a photo shoot at the breakfast bar. The food was so nice compared to my breakfast at home. While having breakfast, 4 other groups came in for theirs and I got to chat with a lady in a really nice dress - so wanted it :)

Summer time

It's too hot to wear wig or make up after 10 am and since we have to wear masks when in shops etc, it's borderline pointless to wear make up anyway.

I had a bit of an incident, which at first I thought was ripped muscles and maybe a fracture but it turns out one of my neck muscles has tightened and is creating pain from my spine all the down my arm. The intensity is similar to having a tooth filling without pain relief and I'm current on week 3. This generally means I get about 4 or 5 hours sleep per night, which in turn means after 3.30 am I'm often awake. Rather than wake the household, I try to get out to a 24/7 McDonalds for a coffee.

Managed a 10am coffee

Being awake, also means I get to see my favourite time of day - sunrise
