What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Bought my second smart phone

Holidays are great, and I've even upgraded my $50USD phone to a $140 phone so I can show you how great the Gold Coast of Australia is.
We have already had lots of fun at 3 theme parks and I'm over seeing beautiful girls in g-string bikinis. I am however missing my wife.
Seen a few whales and dolphins pass by as we have a great ocean view

"Leav'n on a jet plane"

Sorry, just singing to myself.
I would say I'm off for walk-a-bouts
But my 2 weeks back in the country I think of as home (Australia), will be spent at the Gold Coast theme parks and in Melbourne where I spent my childhood.
Apart from my sports tights, all my girl stuff is staying in New Zealand.
I will be thinking of you lots while I'm away, so take care and see you in 2 weeks.

Quick outing

At last some girl time, but only briefly after a very manly fortnight
Got home around 4 pm and cooked dinner for family but I needed girl time so had one of my girls take a photo of my outfit (and cat) for you, before I headed off at 5.30 pm for a $10 meal at a local restaurant.
I was only out for an hour and a half, trying to take photos with my new Huawei phone as well as trying to set up my contacts list.
I was missing my wife so got home at 7 pm and was meet at my porch by all my girls as they relaxed with their drinks while wife was clearing the dishes.

life's confusing

Monday and my hair is a bit wild like a clown, so I got out my clippers and asked Miss 23 to have her second attempt at cutting my hair with the Nu. 3 setting.
She did really well and now looking in the mirror with my 5 day old chin stubble is like having Pierce Brosnan in "No Escape" looking back at me.
I really like the tough look (been getting more attention from the ladies as well) and wonder how long I can keep the whiskers.

The down side is the whiskers didn't suit the blue summer dress I was wearing when cooking tonight's dinner or the outfit I was going to wear to walk the dog (sports tights & top).
I'm so in the mood to be a normal woman tonight.

Other news, I'm tempted to try an electrical project with Arduino cpu and now I have to re-learn C programming which I haven't done in the last 10 years, not sure what I'll be building yet but probably connected to 12 volt car battery system - so any help/advice is welcome.

grocery shopping day

Once a fortnight, wife and I do the shopping.
This time however, wife is feeling a bit under the weather, the kids are all out so she lets me get dressed and sends me out to get the groceries alone.
Pak 'n Save is our big bulk food store, excellent on price but I still prefer the variety the other big outlets have.
But before I do a 2 week grocery shop at Pak 'n Save, there's always time for a coffee :)

Please excuse the look, it's a freezing cold winters night (freezing is anything below 5 degrees C, the wind chill tonight is nasty however). Wife was pacing around me like a buzzard while I was getting ready - to ensure Miss 23 doesn't walk in on me, even though she has seen me dressed many times.

So it's fathers day here

I'm luck enough to have the daughters who work, at home (University girl has gone down the line to see her boyfriend and youngest is with her birth mum).
So earlier in the week when my 2 girls offered to buy me brunch for fathers day, I was over the moon.
I had planned on pancakes, bacon and grilled banana.
But my girls were in 2 minds, should we celebrate fathers day with only half the family or should we wait until everyone is home.
At 2 am this morning, they advised me that they will wait for the others to return.
So my fathers day brunch was McDonalds hotcakes and coffee

It's kind of a good idea for them, that they postponed, had we gone today it would have cost them $40 each, but once the non-workers get back, it would be unfair for them to buy everyone brunch so instead I will be paying $130. Also nice and generous mum will allow them to bring their boyfriends or "plus 1" so fathers day will once again cost me about $250 like it does most years.
Actually I don't think I will go to that brunch, I may stay home and have peanut butter on toast instead.
