What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Ski weekend

No, that's for the other me 😃

It's been a while since I've hit the slopes (been busy raising kids) and since I went with an old friend, no girl stuff was packed. It was a fantastic break from the normal routine my life tends to be, even if I was the oldest person on the mountian.

Girl news........
I decided to buy that nice top I tried on previously, so went back to H&M only to find they had non of the tops available

During the previous week, I had a few coffee mornings. Having shaved the hair off my body, I've tried to wear my pvc skirt most of the week to show off my legs. While leaving this coffee shop, a pretty woman approached and flattened out my skirt that had somehow suck to itself showing a bit more leg than intended, I thanked her most sincerly especially how discrete she was.

As usual, I have yet another project and needed timber framing, but I thought the black skirt wasn't appropriate for the hardware, so changed into a more respectable skirt for stapping timber to my roof rack.

what's new?

On Sunday, wife and I visited our favourite Op Shop. While I didn't see anything inside that interested me, on the outside "free" rack I found a red cardie. Wife wasn't surprised when I took it saying "it was a Rachel colour".

I had a Monday morning meeting in the CBD, but decided on having 45 minutes of relaxing "Girl Time" at Standing Room Cafe (obviously no make up as it was an important client meeting) with my new free cardie. No newspaper for me to read so just did some people watching as hundreds of Uni students unloaded at the bus stop outside.

I've been itching to visit a cafe down Ardmore way I've heard alot about from multiple friends as they have dog walking farm tracks and excellent food. Well I finally managed to visit the cafe and it was a lovely stop for a snack. I had a deliciuos "Sin in a Bun", okay I actually only had half as it was too much for one session and I didn't have anyone to help me eat it. Pity wife doesn't like going out with me when I'm dressed up 😞, but it's just not her thing ( I believe she prefers me looking hot and sweaty doing garden work, shirtless).

Working weekend

Saturday- relaxing with family - nope, helping launch a couple of yachts in the morning and in the afternoon picking up a cubic meter of sand for a garden base and by nightfall wife and I had the weedmat down.

Sunday relaxing - well a little bit, managed an hour of shopping, trying on clothes etc.

Wife really wants the garden area sorted, so I got changed in the car into something more fitting strenous work, but before I start the hours of landscaping, I need second coffee. Again I walk into the shop and the lady says "the usual?" okay it was only three weeks ago I was last there.

I picked up 3/4 of a cubic meter of river stones (about 1.200kg) from Central Landscape. It was so heavy I had to transport it in two trips

The crew at Central Landscape were wonderful, probably not often they have a crossdresser picking up material. When I mentioned I was there the day before for the sand, they asked if I could remove my wig, so I did and she then remembered serving me. We had a bit of fun conversation after that.

I unloaded the trailer onto the drive, then wheelbarrowed it all to the other side of the yard. The work was so strenous, I had to ditch my wig and boobs 😞, not sure what the neighbours thought of that.

Monday -
body is sore everywhere, been encouraging other staff members to get my coffee as I grunt to stand up or sit down, they think I'm old (okay, I'm the oldest in our section).
Wife has already put pieces of furniture that have been "looking" for somewhere to belong for 18 months but it will still change over the next 6 months.
