What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Newmarket shopping

It's been a while, but I'm finally back for lunch at Newmarket shopping mall.

I chose a summer tee shirt and wore the yoga pants that I found at an Op Shop that wife and I visited. Sorry about the lack of make up, but sometimes this old girl is just to busy for the fussy stuff.
I've been after a high speed SD card for a while (wasn't urgent) as I was using an old card from my drone, in my new insta360 camera. At the mall, I walked past Noel Lemmings, so while having lunch, I went online to check their prices, not bad at all so I paid them a visit.

The nice sales woman asked where I got my pants from and are they comfortable, so I told her about the Op Shop and yes, they are the most comfortable type of pants ever. It was a lovely chat, which also included technical stuff about the SD card.

As soon as I got home, I just had to test the card out, now I have four and a half hours recording available at 5K7 resolution - super happy about that.

A couple of mornings this week, was just a quick coffee stop, normally on the way to fetch furniture, for my wife as she learns how to renovate stuff.

Sometimes you wake up wanting stocking and mini skirts

Wife went to bed very late, so I knew she would sleep in. I can't do that and it doesn't help if I'm thinking of mini skirts and stockings.

So out for an early coffee.

So while everyone else got their cofee, I waited, and waited and waited, eventually got fed up and asked staff if order #185 was ready yet.

2 minutes later I got an barista coffee that tasted like instant coffee, with a "here you are sir"

Their wifi wasn't working either, so decided to try getting a decent coffee at another shop.

Next stop, good coffee and free wifi so all good, but I did get changed first as I felt under dressed 😁

Apart from the odd visit to the supermarket, I've not really been in the mood to dress too often in the last week or so.
Wife has started a hobby that needs some significant carpentry repairs - that falls to me to fix.
I've also removed 4 downlights and re-fittted a centre light fitting in the room, patched up the old holes (still need to re-paint the ceiling). She now wants me to level another section of the garden as the shallow slope has no viable use except planting.
