What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Dropped wife and daughter off at the Rugby

Wife and daughter had tickets to the rugby, along with 47,000 other people.

I still had a set of french doors that needed modifying so the left hand leaf opened first, instead of the right. A good excuse to drop the two ladies off at 3 pm and head to the local shopping mall for an hour. A snack and coffee before hitting the shops. A chap at the coffee shop thought I looked lonely and started chatting to me about the news, gave me a 4 page magazine from a local person trying to get into publishing and other small talk.

After mall shopping and trying on some stuff, I eventually ended up at the hardware for a new door handle for the french doors.

Restless night

So wife was up half the night with a bad headache. I was also up worrying about her. Around 2pm she finally got to sleep, unfortunately my body clock still has me waking at 5am. Eventually I got bored of lying in bed so decided to go out for a coffee. The first outfit was a bit naughty, tight and with an under bust corset, but decided a more normal outfit was appropriate with the sun about to rise.

After coffee, I headed to ladies room, found a customer fixing her hair and attendant, chatting. They motioned me to the cubical, but I really needed Nu. 2, so decided to go to the family room so as not to offend the ladies with unpleasant vapours or noises.

I visited Kmart, hoping to find a more suitable top to wear over my under bust corset just incase I had the opotunity to wear such an outfit, then had to go to a large retail outlet for some laundry powder (also tried on two possible tops, but neither would have done justice to the look I was after).

I got home just before 10am as the wife was waking up. I made her a coffee then got showered and changed. She did mention just before lunch with friends, that she could sill see my eyeliner, but it was too late to fix, normally she checks before we leave the house.

Fun weekend

Wife & I managed to escape Auckland for a couple of nights.

Saturday morning she slept in, I borrowed her dress and went for a coffee.

We got a bit sun burned and on the way back to Auckland, after seeing lots of blokes on cruising bikes, she says "I don't mind if you owned and rode one of those".

Needless to say, my wallet is out and ready to buy before she can change her mind. Wonder if I can grow a grey beard like everyone else had?

Pub visit

Daylight saving meaning more evening hours to enjoy the sun shine, and what better way than at the pub in my shiny new skirt.

I think the young blended family at the next table, the group of women at the next table and the blokes at the table in the corner weren't fooled - except I wasn't there intending to fool anyone. I was there to relax in the sun with a large glass of wine.

I took a bit of time to explore East Auckland and found a nice pub in Howick with a garden, just what I needed and the nice staff who were happy to take a photo for me to share with you.
As I hopped out of my car, I was feeling a little bit like a Christmas decoration.
The look probably would have been a bit more feminine if I had my hip pads on to create more curvature, but I just didn't feel comfortable in them and they went in the rubbish bin yesterday.

I took a few more photos once I got home as the sunlight didn't show my skirt off the way I wanted it shown. My oldest was home and we chatted about some home decor for 15 minutes. I also had a quick chat with the neighbour as he was retrieving both our bins from the curb side.
