What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

I didn't realise

That I had a favorite outfit - a bit of a go to, if I don't know what else to wear.

I was visiting H&M Newmarket to see what's new, tried on a new top and skirt, something that might stand out in a crowd. While everything was nice and snug on me and felt comfortable, I am trying to save money for other projects.

Other stuff - took dog down to vets for an injection to help relieve his grass allergy, asked how much for the injection, staff said $80, sounds good value so he won't be eating his feet all night every time he runs on the grass. They forgot to mention another $50 for the 3 minutes of work for vet to stick the injection under his skin. Think next time I'll ask how much for the injection, then pick it up and DIY the poor dog.

Had a few coffees out this week. Found a new favorite place, a Robert Harris coffee shop (as well as McDonalds)

Had to pick up my laptop from "Just Laptops". It's 18 months old and out of warrantee but since I got it from them they did a free check and told me I needed a new screen (maybe next month or 2)

Since they wouldn't take money for the check, I got a family packet of Tim Tams for them to share at lunchtime. I did get a compliment from supermarket staff who said she liked my fishnets and how I hadn't got any runs in them even after I told her I'd worn them 5 times.

Afterwards I had coffee and cake at the mall, where the lovely lady at Columbus Coffee took a photo for you to see :)

Back to the grind tomorrow

I say that, but at work, it's a nice seat in a nice office with an nice view and it's a break from kitchen alterations and finally fixing the couch which has weird 45 degree legs structure that wasn't designed for girls throwing their bums on it (surprised the cushions haven't split). I'm sure if I filmed them sitting down, their feet would be off the ground long before the butts land on the couch. Kids - all fun and no idea how to look after stuff.

Stopped at Muffin break for a coffee, but couldn't get a decent photo for you, so decided to sit on a couch (gently) outside KMart for a photo before having a browse around the mall

Later in the week, had lunch at Newmarket shops and grabbed a few groceries.

When I was at Newmarket, I saw a pretty mid 20s woman wearing "wide fishnets", she rocked the look and had great legs putting her around 5 ft 11 without heels. I was so impressed, I had to purchase a pair for $20 at Farmers store. While at the supermarket ( I like making breakfast in bed for my wife), I obviously made an impression, had a few women greet me as I walked past them.

Do not wear these to keep your legs warm 😅

Sunday I decided, lets have "wide fishnets" on but to make it easier in the rest room, have my underwear on top
- NEVER do this
- things get tangled easily down there, always put panties on first.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but after a couple of hours I was worried about my left friend.😟

I love holidays :)

It's just a time to enjoy life

Okay it's rained quite a bit and I probably should fix the  lower roof which will cost about $4,000 for new roof iron, then there's a leak upstairs on the main roof which I don't understand as I put new underlay under 3 summers ago. The previous owner used expanding foam to prevent the gutter valley from over flowing into the roof cavity, so maybe I should reinstall similar.

In the mean time - enjoying life 😁

Had a coffee at Newmarket shopping mall.
The nice young woman on my right offered to take photos for me since I was having trouble with the front camera getting the photo in a semi reasonable condition, so using the main camera she took about 8 photos as she walked around me. Had a nice chat afterwards.

Two places I sometimes see other people dressed outside the gender norms, Auckland winter gardens and Greenlane McDonalds - Sometimes I think how nice it would be to have a meet up at McDonalds, but then I remember how private and how much we try to blend, that such a meeting would indicate how much we don't blend. Besides, what would I say to someone with similar dressing needs "nice dress" or "who's got the coolest car engine with chrome headers"?
