What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Movie Night again

Cheap Tuesdays, $8.50 for the movies, found about 50 women and 5 guys lined up for Magic Mike movie, so a quick rest stop in the ladies and a makeup check, then back in the ticket que. I was going to see Batman, but the girl in me wanted to see that Robert Patterson movie, even though the fun girls were going to Magic Mike - I wish now that I had joined them.

I do like the black skirt, and loved the girls checking me out, even had compliments on my lace top which is 15 years old now (no mention of my cool as tights, which are a few days old).

Decided that Wednesday would be more time to show off, so at 9.30pm stopped at a busy McDonalds for a late coffee. I was not really in girl mode, I just wanted to show you  my tights properly. Wife reckons they are to busy and I should stick to plainer dark colours

Got a fun weekend lined up, I've been asked to assist in the office for Saturday morning to finish a project, then will probably spend the afternoon and Sunday rebuilding my fence in the rain after 16 meters of it fell over in the early hours of last Monday. Actually surprised the 6 fot high wooden fence has lasted this long, just wish it has chosen a dryer time of year to fall over.

Saturday fence repairs, now every part of my body is sore.
Just realised I'm not used to actual physical work anymore.

Short outings

Woke up this morning, not really wanting to go out, but not wanting to disturb sleeping wife. My internal alarm clock wakes me around 6.30, somehow at weekends hers switches to 10am.
Got to McDonalds around 7am in daughters top and tights, only to realise I'd forgotten to put a skirt on and felt a bit sluttish. I quickly had my coffee and exited by 7.30.

The outfit is similar to both teen fashion and that of some late 40's mums I've seen around lately so I wasn't overly bothered but personally I prefer tights with a mini skirt as well.

In the closet?

Sometimes in life, the closet is a good place to be.

I was married to a woman I loved and coming out would have ruined the marriage. We grew older together and grew further away over 18 years and it ended on it's own accord.

While only my mum knew (as mums do), I started leaving the closet about 8 years ago now, by having a cup of tea at McDonalds at 6 am, finishing at about 6.10 am before any other customers started arriving.
I was not a good dresser, but he staff got to know me and just treated me as a regular female customer. Within 8 months my early morning tea became breakfast and was taking 1 hour, or turning up after the evening rush for a late dinner. I always checked in the windows to ensure it wasn't to crowded before getting out the car.

My current wife knew about Rachel soon after we first met, before we got serious. Her attitude to Rachel is great so I was happy as our relationship developed in to what we have now.
I'm finding a lot of males my age suffering with depression, bi-polar, computer gaming addictions and other mental issues.
Rachel calms me in times of stress, so in that way I use her as much as she uses me.

My wife reminds me that there is a lot worse than having a hour or 2 of girl time and the plus side is instead of spending money on games or booze etc, I buy nice modern clothes that are often shared.

If your with a good woman, test the waters - maybe a fancy dress party where you ask your wife if you can dress as a female witch or ask if you can wear stocking or tights because you heard they are good at keeping legs warm.

Do not substitute a good relationship, for a few hours of dress up per week

Went to Supre a hour before closing tonight and didn't have time to change so I went as a good looking 40+ year old male, tried on 5 tights and bought 2. There were quite a few other women in the changing rooms all trying on trendy tights. Wished I had time to dress up.
The staff there were wearing the Stars and Stripes tights which looked nice on them but not so much on me.
When miss 14 year old saw me in my new tights, while I had told her they were mine but I will share them, she insisted they should stay in her room. I'm actually jealous of how nicely shaped she is compared to my skinny behind.

Had a lovely morning including brunch with a lovely tgirl, but before then I needed to pick up some groceries for home.

After visiting the supermarket, I had a coffee at McDonalds which were super busy for that time of day, but managed to find an empty table to read about the shocking massacre in Aurora, Colorado. My heart goes out to all those and their families.
Also in the paper today is my friends daughters killer, who has decided he must have been insane for murdering the young girl, which means he wants us all to feel sorry for him and be nice to him.
We don't have the death penalty here and it's getting common that every time a girl dumps a guy, that girl must die.

I digress, Supermarket, Coffee oh yes, visited Mitre 10 for new bulbs for the bathroom mirror, checked the prices of paint as 9 year old wants a purple bedroom, took this photo in their kitchen display area. Columbus coffee shop is next door which times it nicely for brunch and a lovely chat about life, the universe and everything (didn't talk about Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy).

Just after 12, my lovely little car passed its 6 monthly road fitness check, it's annoying I have to put my real name and address on the form, but I don't think anyone really cares if we're tgirls and the staff are always polite to me.

After the car checkup, I had to get changed and back home to help with the house work and shuttling the kids around.

I loved being out in just tights and top, think I must find more tops that don't quite cover my behind.

Love you and be safe.
Rachel.

Sunday15th July

My internal alarm clock woke me at 6am and decided to be out and having my wake up coffee at 7.15. A light rain has set in for the day and while concerned for my hair, decided I badly needed to be noticed so it was on with my shinny clothes. Tights and skirt not technically mine but you know the rules about possession - My 18 year old is still wearing my cotton tights, and still looking better in them than me (bitchin), but I do like my 14 year old daughters shinny tights as in this photo - nicer still, she is letting me use them this weekend.

Perhaps next time I'll chose a black bra, I didn't realise the top would be stretched that thin, actually it only looks bad because of the camera flash.
I was going to wear my tight blue top and no skirt, maybe next time.

When I left McDonalds just after 8am, after my coffee and having read the paper, there were only about 12 customers in the shop and 8 staff

I changed again to a more respectable blue skirt and white top to visit Sylvia Park shopping centre and check my Lotto ticket. One day soon, I'm sure, I'll win some money back, hopefully more than I've paid in over the years. I also stopped for a cup of tea and wonder through the book shop as my wife wants "50 Shades of Grey" and Miss 13 is after another "Hunger Games" book.

I managed to get home in time for lunch as we like to get the family together once a week, also assembled a DVD from old VHS tapes and painted a headboard. The rain has slowed and I find myself wishing I was still dressed up and out meeting people.
