What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

I love Steaks

Friday 28 Jan - Cows broke the fence AGAIN, pooed all over where the vegetable patch was yesterday.
Sunday 30th - I (he) took the family to see HMNZS Wellington & Auckland street festival

Monday 31st, With my new hair, tight blue top & mini skirt, I tried to have coffee at the AK Museum but they didn't open until 9:30 so I had McCafe coffee at Ellerslie then did some urgent grocceries at Countdown Ellerslie.
It is amazing how relaxed being dressed up make me feel, it just totally blows away all stress

New Hair

Friday 7th Jan, I got a new wig ($40 from Papatoetoe Plaza, shop next to Kmart).
Saturday morning, went out for coffee & for a new WOF for the car. Felt like magic with the new hair.
Down side - went to toilet & woman in next cubical obviously had tummy troubles, put me off my breakfast.

Christmas holidays 2010

This whole break & I've not been out (had visitors).
Legs looking like a forest, chin like a hedgehog, eyebrows not much better. My girls tried waxing my chest (after they decided it was to painfull to do their legs), we all ended up in wax goo.
It's getting to hot during the day to go out (note to self - do not leave lip stick in hot car) and can't really excuse myself from the family yet in the evening.

3rd Jan,
After a morning outing trying on tops & dresses (loved a black & white top from TEMT for only $26 - think I'll re-check my wardrobe & see if I can add it to my collection), anyway my family thought I looked a bit hairy, with electric trimmers they  hacked down the forest on my legs, back, underarm & stomach - feeling much better now.
Next time I go out, I'll not be to offensive in a mini skirt.

Monday 29th November

Had a barny with one of my daughters, she's just starting to be a teenager & pushed the line to far. It lasted over 2 days & broke my heart. I was meant to help her chose her first set of high heels, but had to deny her my fashion sense. Sometimes being a parent is just rough. It was just to stressful for me to go out last weekend dressed up. Tonight we made up & went for our jog together.
I normally run in 3/4 lycra tights, but they are a big hot for summer, I think I might look out for a cotton pair

Youngest was ill & off school, so I finally managed to re-lay the stair carpet I pulled up after the water pipe burst in October, followed by all the wall changes, plumbing & wiring, it was my last job in that section of the house - free to relax in the spa with a beer & my good woman. Hopefully I'll get out next weekend :-)

Monday 22nd November 2010

This afternoon around 6.30 pm I had a drink & a bit of food at Cock & Bull, Elerslie. I was wearing my tight black jeans & my favorite blue top. My guess is people just thought I was crazy, staff were friendly & only one or 2 whispered comments. It was a nice start to the evening.  After a quick change in to little black skirt, tights, coral singlet & white cardie (another casual look) I went to Lido to watch EAT PRAY LOVE. I loved the movie, especially the section shot in Rome - I've only spent 4 days there & just loved Rome & the people.
After the movie, time to sober up at McDonalds Elerslie with a coffee.
On the way home had to pick up milk, so went in to Countdown dressed in my shinny wet look black outfit -tights, skirt & top with black jacket, just wished it was latex.
Went to Supre the other day, fell in love with a blue mini dress, I think I'll be in there at the weekend to try it on.
I'm really loving my outings, would love some girls to hang out with
