Just seen the new Superman

I know everyone has their favourite Superman. I get that.......some people like dark movies and some prefer fun movies (that's more like me). This one is one I could happily take my grandkids to. So for the fact it was FUN to watch, a little bit old school magazine and the acting was great, I would like to say for me, it's the best version I've seen. I'm a great fan of Christopher Reeve's Superman, his version reminded me of the comics I used to read, he even had normal human feelings, Henry also did an excellent job with Superman. This version is just FUN, FUN, FUN. - I would like to by the VHS / DVD if I had any of those old players lying around (I used to have Superman on VHS for about 10 years, after hitting the record button, watching free TV).

Anyway - crossdressing, lets see....

I went to the hardware, bought a coffee in their cafe, read the newspaper, picked up some mains cable and an outdoor flood light, posed for you on one of their outdoor chairs. Wife let me out saying she had to do a couple of hours of work at home. Shock - I always wondered how I would feel with eyeliner under my eyes - I did it, loved it.

The problem of buying new stuff for projects on the home, is my "need" to get home quickly, get changed, crawl into the cramped, dusty ceiling space, and re-wiring the home.

But trying to give my wife a bit more quiet work from home time, I stopped at the beach, took off my long sleeved top and took some photos for you. The sun was in my face and I just ended up squinting at the camera.

cheap top

I got to the shops during the week, found a lovely $7 top at Postie Plus, but now wondering if I should have spent twice as much to get double the thickness 😄

Wife asked me pick up some groceries, and just to prove I don't just drink McDonalds coffee, here's me at a different cafe on the way home from work.

I thought with winter, I would have more time to build my model and practice with the guitar, but instead I've recently build a weather screen to stop the rain coming onto our deck during westerly winds and also helped wife with her garden. Made some stainless brackets for my 12 volt decking lights and re-configured their locations and what they were highlighting.

Had one of those mornings, when wife sent me out to get some printer paper from The Warehouse, I decided to look around for a new bra while there as my 20 year old beige bra is starting to get holes in the material. The unusual thing about this morning - I didn't stop for a coffee and cake, just visited one shop and went back home.

Getting a bit bored with dressing up 😞
Probably because it's always the same, maybe I just need to pack my tent and head into the bush for a few days, maybe find a clean stream or lake and set up camp. Maybe just a 2 day road trip with wife to somewhere new - actually I don't think there's anywhere "new" too me in this country, but there's places I haven't see for a few decades might be nice to re-visit.
But for now, it's renovate (this week it's wiring and adding 230v external lights) and dig a new garden bed.

Man flu -bugger

Friday I had to inspect a new build in progress, no roof or walls. I was rugged up for the rain and wind and only in it for less than an hour - totally wrecked my weekend.

Before then, I had managed to get out for a morning coffee and enjoying the tight grey top, decided to wear once I got home with tights, love the look and no complaints from the wife

Sunday, with sore leg muscles and back waking me at 5am, I wasn't sure if it was the 9 hours in bed causing it, or the flu just working on my muscles, initially I tried to stay in bed with the electric blanket on, but by 6am I took some Coldrex and decided to move my body. I haven't worn my one piece outfit for a long time, so decided to dress it up with a skirt, corset and cardie. The corset was wonderful for my back pain, but by 7.30am I had had enough of it. I would have stayed out longer, but wife wanted an 8am wake up and I enjoy making her morning coffee (just like the previous 25 years) and lying down next to her while she drinks it.

Later on Sunday, wife saw me struggling with the electric hair trimmer (with a number 4 on it) through my hair, first time ever - she helped and gave me a really nice haircut. Okay, I prefer a #2 cut, like when I actually had hair, but it's progress.

Well the flu didn't kill me, but wife got it, well like 20% of what I had anyway and for only half the time.

Thursday

Auckland got a good drenching, with rain warnings over most of the country. The was so much rain, my white top went almost see-through. I still had to have coffee and cake and get a box of tea bags from the supermarket. I felt like walking the mall, but really wanted to get home and watch some more Andor season 2 on Disney channel.

Wife wasn't surprised by all my clothes bra and stockings hanging over the bath drying when she got home. I had changed into my PVC top and lycra leggings and as I took the rubbish bins to the road side, I was pleasantly surprised at how waterproof the PVC top actually is in heavy rain.

So I've come to realize, I haven't shown you all my outfits for the 3 weeks, so time again for another photo dump and the bonus is, it's not all about McDonalds coffee at 7am, one is actually a Subway dinner stop (okay a lot is at hardware stores as I buy stuff for the new house)

Busted AGAIN !!!

So we had a large family multi-day gathering, people sleeping all over the house.

Once everyone left, I discovered 2 items of clothing left behind - including this cute cardie.

Daughter rocks up today "has anyone seen my cardie?" "Sorry, it's in my car", it turns out one family member "borrowed" it from another, then left it in my second bedroom when she returned to Australia.

Anyway, house is back to just the two of us, nice and quiet for at least 2 days.
I did manage to get to Newmarket shopping center for a short time, not buying anything but fun just people watching and having a light lunch.

cold snap

Coldest day this year (so far anyway), snow on the Port Hills Christchurch. Apparently, we had only 7 degrees (44 for Americans). I do remember my youth, having minus 2, but I think with age, I feel it more now.

So it's thick stocking during my coffee just after sunrise.

I'm enjoying my perfume, never really got into it earlier, but Pretty by Elizbeth Arden is very nice to wear.

A gentleman held the door so his wife and myself could enter the shop, some humans are just so nice.

Not much in todays newspaper, so coffee stop was only about 35 minutes, then I decided to go home as I want to cook bacon, egg and beans for our breakfast for when my wife wakes up.

I got home and realized it was the perfect time to photograph our new garden. it was just a 10 meter slope, but now it has 2 levels. I finished the stairs yesterday, and my back muscles were twinging me awake at 5am (and the shouting cat in the kitchen didn't help me get back to sleep).

I think a couple of dry days, and the lower section will be good for soccer practice with the grandkids.

I did manage to get to the movies earlier this week to see Tom Cruise do his thing.

And I actually shared a picture from my youth, with a viewer who also enjoys being up in the sky - yes I had a mustache in the 1980's and yes parachuting is a heck of a lot of fun (okay, not sure why Ton Cruise prefers his chutes on fire - 16 times for his latest movie).

Anyway, off to cook breakfast in the pink dress (my daughter and I went 50/50 shares in buying) and stocking, hope you've had a great week.
