1 or 2 owners before me modernized and removed the bath, putting a shower in it's spot.
Sure it made the room look big.
Wife and I have been here for 10 years and only had baths at hotels etc.
So it's out with the tile floor, vanity and shower.
Found out the plumber did some amazingly stupid work, like plumbing past the floor penetrations and doing a U turn.
Anyway, by the end of the weekend, I'm ready (well almost) to line the walls.
Did I mention, everyone got out of my way most of the time (well, all except for daughter, her partner and their baby)
Saturday I managed to get coffee out during demolition
Sunday - Bunnings for dry wall, borrowed their trailer, boys helped me load it.
Very helpful cause ladies shouldn't do heavy lifting - right?
Older daughter thought it funny the youngest helped me unload the trailer (she thinks youngest is lazy), she also thought it was funny watching Rachel carrying sheets of dry wall. I must admit my boobs were getting in the way.
After returning trailer, I took my youngest to the train station, where she meet a friend and headed into the city.
I visited the local shopping center - now desperate to use the ladies room and also a good opportunity to check out a couple of clothing shops. Really liked this top and discovered I have no hips - well..I kind of knew that already, but do I care - not really.
Decided I had to concentrate on the renovations....... after lunch.
Stopped at MacDonald's for a Big Mac and coffee, before going to a different Bunnings for waterproofing compound (just in case I magically got the dry wall up before the day ended).
3 days later....
Renovations now waiting on the tiler to come free off a job.

Hi Rachel
Heidi Phox had an interesting posting on hip pads recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=octMM6xnch0&t=133s
And how do you keep your hands looking good with all the building work you do.
I like your pics too.
Regards
Tom
