So today was my surgeons appointment day, so first got dressed, forgot my undies but who needs undies anyway (doctor tells me undies and pants are bad for males, they prevent essential cooling).
Wife did mention how lucky I was to have her buying me clothes (I do love this skirt she got for herself - and I'm also willing to share the lawn mowing with her if she ever gets the urge to do so)
Then got to the waiting room and.....
I waited........... read some woman's mags......... watched Elle and waited 50 minutes after the appointment, but eventually made it in to his office and......
I waited some more, took lots of photos while I waited.
After she left, I waited again.
The surgeon arrived with the student, we laughed some more, but eventually I had to lift my skirt so they could stick a telescope up my behind - Oh the indignity of it, not to mention the painful pushing. Lets just say it wasn't the most photographic view of me, and then they were gone - off to the next patient.
On the way home I stopped at Bunnings to buy one of their electric lawnmowers, but they had sold out (the non-replaceable rubber band broke in my lawnmower, but I might do something cool with the motor).
I also stopped off at the chemist with my prescription (for grains & fibre to help my digestion - I never should have given up on the Weet-Bix breakfast).
While I was planning all the things I could do at home, I did manage to stop off for a cup of tea first. Found a cafe so full, I was lucky to get the last table.
But I'm so relaxed from my little adventure, so relaxed having girl time, so relaxed doing house cleaning.
I wish painting my car, fixing my gutters was this relaxing (maybe I should wear a skirt for that also)
Sunday 31st May - an Einstein function is on at my University (and probably yours) ....
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Einstein's general theory of relativity.
So don't expect any blogging on that day.
Hope you have a great weekend (without needing any doctors).
