Trying to find time for myself

Monday 27th

First things first, I've damaged an arm while sailing when the yacht heeled over and slammed me against the stern pulpit (which was under water at the time). So for the last few weeks, sleep has been a bit of a hit or miss affair. The Google diagnosis implies a torn Deltoid and it's probably time I see a doctor instead of trying to tough it out.

During an early morning wake period, I managed to slip out for a 6am coffee.

By 6.30, I was already thinking about getting home to do some cleaning on the house and sort out the granny flat that wife and I will be moving into next week. The day was a very warm 27 degrees so while I changed tops, I kept the skirt on until around 2 pm (wife and I work working mostly in the private courtyard and only a few trips around the front or back of the house where neighours might have seen).
I was planning on getting out to have my eyebrows cleaned up, but wife asked me not to until after the family outing today (Tuesday)

Tuesday 28th
Arm has woken me at 12:30am, 2, 3:30 and 5:30am and by this time I decided to go for coffee. The day is a bit cooler so I went for a more sporty look, unfortunately the sports bra straps is over the sore area on my shoulder blade.

So before picking up cat food and the like this morning, I decided to to swap into daughters dress.

Back home by 8am and it's time to switch modes for a fun day out with the family.

Christmas shopping, sorry no photos

So I know nothing about Anime, but while dressed in casual blue skirt and tight white top, big boobs and long hair, I bought a really cute pink haired anime character figurine for my son-in-law. I also went to H&M to buy a pretty pleated green skirt, but it was sold out and they only had a horrid blue/grey and a boring beige.

Anyway, getting home, daughter told me she had never heard of the series my gift was from, so she told me to get changed to boy mode and she will help me get the correct figurine. We get to the shop, the figurine he likes was sold out and there was a little sign on the counter saying no refund/exchanges, so we got nowhere.

We went home, had lunch and around 1.30, I decided to "girl up" and re-visit the store with yet another character name on hand. The shop had plenty and they were the same price, and I gusted they felt sorry the poor uninformed crossdresser (maybe) and they helped me out.

So finally, with an appropriate figurine under my arms, this lady says a big thank you to Anime 2 You.

I still don't know what the heck the character is about and I still need to find another little gift to make up secret Santa value for someone who enjoys watching anime.

Busy shopping week

Kitchen renovations - I've been postponing my kitchen renovations for about 6 years now. Due to Auckland still being in a Covid lockdown (aka, not allowed to leave the area until the rest of the country has their vaccine jabs), I've had my second attempt to get lost in the Southern Alps cancelled.

It started off accidently, when daughter suggested tiling a kitchen splash back, using the tiles I bought 6 years ago for the job. Daughter wanted a bigger splash back than I had tiles for, so from then on every day I was either at a hardware or trying to relax at a shopping mall. We still not allowed to sit down at the mall with the meals we purchase from there, because sitting down spreads Covid (well it does mean a lot of people in close proximity without masks).

Everyone I interacted with - from hardware shops, the people helping me chose the correct paint and tinting it, tile shops, clothing shops and food outlets, have been absolutely fantastic and very helpful, people holding doors open an allowing me through first etc. Even in the busy shopping malls during the Black Friday sales, staff been amazing, customers starting random conversations with me about stuff in shops.

One lunchtime, I was sitting with my daughter and granddaughter on the front deck, wearing her blue dress with plunging neckline (we both wear a little something under so our boobs aren't on display with this shared dress), and a neighbour walked by and had a long chat with us about the roses and flowers in the garden.

Mitre 10 hardware

New shiny skirt I'm probably going to buy

Getting dinner for the family, microwave food as kitchen is too messy to cook

Bunning hardware, coffee before buying paint

Bunnings hardware demo kitchen

Sylvia park shops, found a seat to relax on

So the old kitchen was dark red, with the assistance of two of my daughters who sanded and primed the door panels, the kitchen is now an off white.

13 cabinets and draws, dark red

new layout, nice and fresh looking

Total renovation (not including stuff I already had from other projects). Tile cutter $104, extra tiles $56, tile adhesive $20, paint, primer roller and brushed $110, cabinet handles to match existing kitchen unit $180

Total cost of new looking kitchen $470 NZD

With baby

So I was at home RELAXING

Daughter (who lives down stairs) greats me on the deck and says

"Just forgotten something, here, have a baby"

She knows full well that I had a procedure to prevent me having babies.

But here we are, both quite unsure what to make of it 😕

The great escape

So I escaped this locked down city, got to the border, cops waiting, flashed them a few documents and off I go.

It was so strange, seeing my fellow countrymen (and women) enjoying pubs, cafe, people in groups.

Unfortunately, being a patriot and believing their lives were worth more then my temporarily suspended rights, I decided to keep away from such places. I did the mission I was allowed out for, some 650km away from home, then returned to lock down city.

It didn't mean I couldn't travel in female mode, it didn't mean that I had to change back to male mode when chatting to the police at the border.

Although I was dressed more in a blend mode when chatting to police than I was when traveling

It was a hot day with the sun streaming in the front window - so I dressed to enjoy such warmth, although looking at the photos, I'm just glad it was Halloween

So how was I dressed when the police were chatting to me at the border?

I Blushed

We are still in lockdown, but this reduced level allows me to order online and then drive out and pick up my order.

So wife wanted more potting mix and bark for the garden and ordered 8 bag loads from Bunnings which I had to pick up for her.

The young man scanned my barcode and went and got my order.

We're not allowed to leave or cars and we still have to wear masks so I wasn't overly visible, but after loading up my car, he approached my passenger window and said how beautiful I looked.

I wonder how good his vision was, but it still caused me to blush

Day Whatever.......still in lockdown

Without the working week, does it really matter what day it is?

During this lockdown, I've cleaned the gutters around the house, cleaned the house, inside and out, built 2 trellis for wind breaks and privacy, built the floor structure for a new shed and walked about 8km each day.

I won't comment on how much I've eaten, not like there's much more to do.

Hoping to be able to go to work soon before all my funds have been used up, adding to the stress on top of that I've only been able to dress nicely about 1 hour every 3rd day - seriously not enough girl time (wife and daughter have commented about me dressing too often)

I did manage 30 minutes out at the shops picking up essential supplies (milk, bread, Hundreds and Thousands biscuits).

Lockdown Post

Built stairs on outdoor path. Built seats in rear courtyard. Built new shed base (can't buy the shed yet). Built and painted trellis and installed as privacy screen on front porch.  Washed house and pergola (inside and outside). Moved small trees and pot plants to wife's current requirements. Walked many Kms.

And grew a beard.

Worn yoga tights often (sometimes all day long, sometimes the black ones, sometimes my silver ones)

Practiced single rope climbing and abseiling in the above tights

Lockdown - the craziest of times.

In lockdown number 4

Monday, I managed to get to the library and pick up a few books. I've gotten to the stage of not worrying about 3 days without shaving or applying makeup. Maybe something in the universe was telling me I'll have plenty of time for book reading

Tuesday, on the way home from work I decided to have a coffee stop, wearing one of my daughters blue and pink jumper and black pleated skirt.

Sorry, this photo doesn't show the pleated skirt so I've done another photo for you. I was kind of hoping to get to H&M this week to buy one in my size, this extra small is a bit tight 😊

Anyway, about an hour after my coffee at Coffee Club, the government announced a snap lockdown at midnight Tuesday (6 hours notice). We had 1 case of community transmission of Covid. 3 days later and after a lot of testing, there were 25 people out there unknowing spreading it. Hopefully the next 5 days we won't top 120 and we can relax (assuming twats aren't breaking the rules, otherwise we could be out of work for weeks to come).

As for me, I've worn womens clothes each morning and afternoon, built some steps in the back yard and painted a trellis ready for installing on the front porch (someone built a 2 story next door that looks onto the porch). Lockdown gives me the time to do those projects that have been waiting on free time.

Day without commitments :)

I'm a free man(?) for a day, what to do?

First of all take daughters size 1 slinky evening dress from the pile of her throw out clothes accessorize it so it looks more casual, keeping the tight arse lower half in display (hope it doesn't show my G string too much) and go have an 8 am coffee at a nice shop in a posh area.

8.55 am, in the hope of moving more freely, lose the high heels and super tight dress and replace with a nice shiny green skirt for a stroll around Newmarket shopping mall once it opens. I got to see inside most dress shops, tried on a few outfits. I really wanted to re-check the H&M pleated skirt to make sure I didn't want it but ended up trying on a few different more business like outfits.

I didn't get to fool anyone, not that I was trying too, I was just relaxing and enjoying being feminine. Anyway, after Newmarket I also visited Sylvia Park to check out the outfits in Zara and Kookai.

In the end, I decided I would rather spend my money on buying some driving lights for my car.

After a couple of coffees, I decided to get changed, head home and help my daughter buy a new bed for my grandson, then help her re arrange the furniture to accommodate his larger bed.

This evening was filled with a few relaxing beers and watching an action movie.

WTF

So I was relaxing at McDonalds around 7.30am, had a coffee.

Nothing really to mention, but on the way out passed a young man, mid 20's I guess, who was smiling while scanning me (not sure if he thought me pretty or thought me mad, I didn't ask).

We swapped pleasantries as I left the building.

So here's where it gets a strange.. I realized afterwards he had a nice face, attractive smile, good manly chest and arms and I found myself wondering what it would be like having a cuddle with him. Not that I ever would even if I could.

I mean, where does that even come from? does it mean living more feminine over a long time makes me get female feelings? is it an age thing? is it because I've cuddled females for so long I felt like having something different?

On a side note, daughter bought an amazing skirt, one that I liked when it was first in the shop but until I saw it on her, I didn't realize how pretty it actually was - so I rushed to the shop and found non. Sometimes I regret not buying stuff when they first hit the shelves.

Decided to have dinner on the way home

Normally I'm home first and cook dinner about 4 times during the week.

Today I decided it was someone else's turn to cook the dinner and I stopped at the pub on the way home from work.

Once I got home, I discovered todays cook was the owner of this cute skirt, which I've borrowed a couple of times in over the last 10 days. Secretly, it's my favorite just because it feels so nice on my legs.

It doesn't mean I haven't worn others this week that aren't also nice, I just don't have any decent selfie photos as the phone sits on the tables, the same tables that hides my skirts 😞

Car back to the mechanics

During the annual safety check, the mechanic picked up the fact my shock absorbers were leaking oil and needed replacing.

I could have done it myself, but my mechanic gets a parts discount that makes it the same price whether I do it or they do it. My mechanic knows me in either mode and today asked about one of my older cars that he hasn't seen for a while. I sold it for a reasonable price.

While out, I stopped off for a coffee and a read of the newspaper at Columbus Coffee Botany Junction.

So, really every day, I relax with a coffee and reading the cafe's newspaper. It probably would be a bit cheaper to have a newspaper delivered home and have a coffee at home, but with young adults and now grand children at home, not to mention the wife who has so many garden projects, there's no way to relax there.

Still looking for something

Really need to get out more - no not crossdressing but hiking and getting up into some mountains, it doesn't help that we don't have any mountains close (when I lived in Australia as a 6 & 7 year old, I was always out in the bush).

Looking to join a club that gets me out of Auckland and into the remote spots where the air is good.

Until then, I suppose it's all about the coffee.

Getting a little bored with needing to crossdress

Some days I can't be bothered shaving, putting makeup on, some days I wish I didn't have this need.

I'm not saying never, but a couple of weeks off would be nice, it just feels like it's getting old - maybe it's the winter blues.

But until then, it's dressing time.

Am I tough enough

As a young person, I did a bit of time camping. In those days there was a tarp for a floor and a tent over the top. I've spent a lot of years since, getting used to some really comfortable mattress.

I though this weekend, I might try to re-discover my younger self. I bought a tent, dusted off the old sleeping bags and headed off.

After a few hours I arrived at my camp site around 6pm. It was already night but with a bit of moonlight I was set up within 5 minutes.

I had forgotten that between our current hours of darkness and bed time there is about 4 hours. I think I got bored around 9pm and fell asleep. It was quite a good sleep, but I did have to climb out at 4.44am for a toilet stop - yes it was raining and unpleasant standing outside, but I was soon asleep once more.

I was planning on tramping up a mountain, but as it was an advanced track in summertime, without the 6 hours of heavy rain that I woke up too. On some sections they have chains to help people haul themselves up, but having slippery mud tracks just makes it bad, not fun. So instead I decided on a walk around Hamilton Gardens to see what's new. I loved the new stuff, chatted to quite a few people including a group of young ladies (23ish).

At the cafe, having a late morning tea. As I was leaving, one lady approached and said "hi, lovely morning" and I responded in kind, while she full body scanned me - Actually while she was probably 10 years older, she was still attractive so I didn't complain and kind of regretting I didn't have a longer conversation. I'm not sure what was going on as on my way out of the gardens, about 200 older people were coming in as a group, with name tags and boxes of stuff.
