What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Day to relax

Wife gone out visiting friends 😁

As she's not a Sci-fi fan, I head to the movies to see DUNE Pt2.

First, I visit a cafe for a relaxing coffee and read or the happenings in the news paper before heading to the shops to grab a few dog treats and make up wipes.

I eventually get to the movies 15 minutes before 10am, buy an ice cream (of course it was a raspberry choc top with nuts) and while I wait for a few minutes before heading in, I call my daughter who tells me it's a fantastic movie that's 3 hours long.

Heading in, a tall lady with dark hair arrived at the counter asking for a ticket, what struck me odd was she asked for a "senior" admission. I was thinking if she's that old, maybe I should have a "post senior" ticket. I really wanted to chat to her about the book (because I can't talk to anyone at home about it as no one there cares about Sci-fi), especially after the movie, as I didn't think it was meant as a chic flick. Anyway, I finally get into the cinema, and of the 6 in there, there was 4 females, 1 male and whatever category I fall into.

The "Senior" lady raced out before I could ask her opinion on the movie - I was busting for a trip to the ladies room after 3 hours and before chatting to anyone.

I got fed up with the fishnets and ditched them before going to the movies.

After the movies, I went to a fancier cafe for lunch that tends to have a lot of "well to do" people, before realizing I still hadn't been to the library to drop off a book that was about due.
