What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Summer is heating up

And my daughter asked where her two summer dressers were. Wife volunteered that she put them in my draws, well she did put one in my draws, the other was in my grab bag. So I got both out for her, which she promptly left at my house - so I figured one last time, once before work coffee and once for lunch at the mall.

I had an appointment with a therapist, not a gender therapist, but a cancer therapist, okay I did turn up in a low cut black top and business jacket, heels and nice pants. What I learned was that I was better off taking lessons from Frank Herbert (Author of DUNE) -you know - "fear is the mind killer", "little reeds bend before the hurricane" or something like that - it was decades ago that I read the books.

Anyway, while I was waiting for the appointed time with the therapist (and in different outfit including a wig), I had coffee at Columbus coffee next to Auckland Hospital, got bored, hoped on a bus to Newmarket shops, walked around a bit before having a cup of tea, then bussed back to the hospital.

Afternoon coffee

I really thought that the school kids (14-17) that hang around a coffee shop I like, were used to me having a coffee and doing a little shopping. Maybe, for many this week, it's the first time they have seen someone my age, dressed up as the wrong gender - or maybe it was my unshaved chin. Five or six gave a stare and giggle, I don't mind, I just looked their way and smiled, even said hi to a group that was close by and noticed me.

I don't mind that I have a male body, it's quite efficient and has served me well, but if I had a choice now, well......

Anyway, a few photos I haven't had time to put a story too, from the last four or five months.

Quiet weekend

Had two "open homes" over the weekend, with 3 groups doing second visits, one even brought over a builder to check the structure, so hoping for a sale soon. We've started negotiations with another seller of a small two bedroom house. When we down size, I won't need half my tools, be a bit sad to see them sold or disposed off, but found a new hobby (other than dressing up).

Cat woke me early, so early morning coffee while the wife slept in (she got coffee in bed yesterday).

Actually with the wife Christmas shopping, I had the chore of picking up some essentials from the supermarket. Once I got home, wife decided she wanted her skirt back. I really do enjoy tight shiny clothes and loving this $12 KMart top.

I'm okay with her stealing her skirt back, I had enough time and another change of clothes available and headed out to the cinema. I thought Beetlejuice would be as good as the 80's, but it's no longer in my interest range, I really wanted to enjoy it but it wasn't to be.

Halloween

Isn't that the time all crossdressers, dress up and go out?

I tried not to be too scary (even if staff were dressed up), but I did need parts from Spotlight to to fix a roller blind

Saturday I had a few hours of me time, of course the cat woke me at 6am, technically that's a sleep in for him so coffee at 7am.

Wife hasn't called, she must have had a good sleep in plus she has a couple of chores that don't need my help, so time to check out fashion in the mall. Now Halloween has passed, it's time to get the Christmas clothing range out, but not for me.

Well with all that, and purchasing the black top and the white tee shirts, time to change to bigger boobs and have another coffee 😁

And nothing like after a nice relaxing morning tea,

MORE SHOPPING

Also got a few groceries just before leaving the mall, and I almost had a costume failure as, with both hands full of groceries, my wife's skirt starts slipping off my non existent hips. I hobbled over to a bench, put the food down and did a major re-adjustment wiggle to get the skirt into a situation where the top layer doesn't just slide down over the inner lining. I didn't look behind to see how many people were enjoying my situation.

Renovations completed :)

It's been a hard slog, trying to get everything done so the house can go on the market in time. With the new roof, I had to sort out the guttering and down pipes. That took 2 trips to Bunnings as I was about 400mm short with the first load of pipework as I decided to do a slightly prettier job.

Finished the painting - can it really be finished on such a large building that has toddlers in?

With all this work, a girl still needs coffee and a few minutes to check new season fashion. I don't really like my wife's top in the first photo below, but it's just nice to try different styles occasionally.

The girl at the coffee shop that opens early who always leaves sweet notes on the cup lid was chatting to me a bit on my last visit, asked ho come I'm awake and ready for work just after 6am, I told her my 15 year old cat likes to shout for food at about 5am 😡
