What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Wanting my man bod back

Okay, so it's an old man bod at the moment, so I was a bit more conscious of what I eat and this morning -  Auckland anniversary holiday, having an hour that was deemed "free" (ie, to early to have jobs allocated), I decided to hit the running tack.

It reminded me of how I really hate running, but it was probably good for me.

Wife allowed me to     a) take her new car for an outing

                                     b) have some girl time

So I grabbed my big camera and a few lenses, got dressed and hit the road without really thinking it through.

I ended up in Clevedon - probably thinking about Ardmore Aerodrome and photographing some aircraft, but didn't see any flying today, so drove right past. Plan B was artistic beach photos.

I did see a small group of pine tress and thought about how you might want to see me posing with more interesting backdrops than just shopping malls. But still no need for the big camera.

I stopped at Mitre 10 on the way home, more stuff for the house.

And while I love this white top, I do feel a bit fat in it.
The black top is more slimming I think

Other exercises today, cutting back 1.5 meters of hedging, removing sediment from a storm water sump pit, planting wifes trees, moving a couple of wheelbarrow loads of soil around, and relocating all her heavy pot plants. Body is now sore in places I didn't even know I had.

Pub night

Now I'm not usually a nigh time girl, but on New Years Eve, I went to a popular pub in the blue dress my coffee girl gifted to me, and the pub had shut by 9pm.

So I decided to visit around 9pm on Friday, same dress - bound to be crowded, or so I thought. Apart from a brief chat with a female customer at the bar, there was only two small groups of drinkers. So I was in for a quick drink, then headed back home - wife was happy, she doesn't like me out at night either.

But really....I spent a whole 5 minutes on doing my make up (foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick) and apart from 2 bar workers and the customer at the bar, only my wife got to see the effort I put in. The rest of the evening was spent at home watching "Below Deck" on TV.

Saturday morning was more fun, 6am coffee at McDonalds, then another at 8am before a quick trip to the supermarket to get bacon, before heading home to make wife a breakfast in bed.

yep, that's right, I bring home the bacon 😁

The nice thing about being hairless, is the feel of the swish of the dress on my bum cheeks, the coolness of the seat covers, the cold draft from the supermarket fridges. So many sensations that men in pants will never know.

Of course I had to get out in my new bra, but first some dress rehearsals at home.

Bit disappointed, wife wants her top back so now it's in the "shared space"

Bra Shopping

Gee, what an effort, I feel sorry for women who have to go through that process regularly, I think my newest bra is 6 years old and my other about 12 years old.

First it was time for a 7am coffee since the malls don't open yet.

Swapping my short skirt for pants and removing my corset for a more respectable look, I visited Bunnings hardware which opens early. I'm sure a new kitchen will be required in our new house soon after we move in.

I still prefer the feel of a skirt on my hairless legs, the soft material brushing my skin, so off with the fishnet stockings and pants and into a skirt. I don't like stocking or even fishnets, either the look or the fact I don't get the nice feeling of silky material brushing my legs. Maybe as a compromise I should stick to extra wide fishnets?

By now "The Warehouse" has opened (but not the rest of the mall), time to check their range of bras, clothing and I'm also looking for curtain glides, this is the second shop that has an empty hook for the the parts I need for my soon to be "ex" house.

9.30 and time to really start looking to replace my old, but favourite bra.

I started at Farmers shop as they have a big range, but nothing really working for me there.

Next I went to Bendon, a few nice bras but still nothing that really ticked my wish list so moved on to "Bra's and Things". Eventually after exposing my bare chest (and head) to the very frequent attendant, I found something that wasn't the red lace I wanted but an acceptable black bra.

Not only did my size vary, but the cup size and then how much covering I needed (quarter cup isn't going to hold my friends in place)

Later in the day, I took the wife to a beach where she had a late lunch with a friend while I went to Columbus Coffee for an hour. It's part of Mitre 10 hardware, so I also grabbed 2.7 meter length of  skirting board wife noticed needing replacement. Funny trying to be all girlie with a 2.7 meter stick that refused to scan at he checkout and became a significant issue with a big queue building up behind me, then having to walk back through the shop to the trade counter for assistance - bar codes should just work!

Happy New Year

What a great week I've had off and still a couple more days holidays to enjoy.

Last child left home, so officially just wife and I at home, quite a few lunches and dinners out. It's been a bit of a back breaker moving daughters stuff, cleaning her section of the house, a bit of plastering and painting the walls from decades of damage. I've even had a bit of time to do a jigsaw puzzle.

I didn't get to see "Die Hard" this Christmas, very unusual 😕

New Years eve, wife said at 9.30pm to go out and relax, pub or take photos of the night sky, so I grabbed my tripod and camera, got dolled for a fun night at the club, little blue dress in previous post, spent a whole 15 minutes on shave and make up, looked as hot as someone my age can, and headed of to the pub by 10pm.

Pub was shut, apparently 7pm was what most did, except the inner city with their 2am closings and it was too windy to be out doing astrophotography, so I went back home.

January first

Woke up, visited coffee shops 7.30am - all shut, went to the beach for a 8am swim

Water felt like ice. I do like my wife's swimsuit, nothing fell out during swimming. I only lasted in the water about 7 minutes. In my Kmart swimsuit, my boobs would have floated off into the horizon in that time.

Day after Christmas a daughter dropped off some clothes for the op-shop, so now I have new jeans, skirt and tops. With a fairly good growth of facial hair, I just wore them without any pretense of being a female (ie. without wig or make up).

Before my facial hair got beyond day 2, I did have a couple of hours out shopping in one of the "new" skirts.
