Fun long weekend

First I got away for a night with my wife, visited Mangawhai, checked out their markets where wife bought 2 pretty new dresses and a skirt (she doesn't want to share them just yet, but the skirt fits me well and is very light and silky). We had a lovely lunch at the pub relaxing to some good old country music with a whiskey in my hand - what could be better.

Next night I meet up with Jan for a couple of glasses of wine and a chat (no music this time and the restaurant was almost empty, covid scaring everyone away still or everyone left the city for a 3 day break)

Sorry no photos of either outings but this morning, after a bad sleep, panicking about the torrential rain seeping under the roof line and dripping into our bedroom - I did get out for coffee and since I was by myself - phone camera wasn't distracting me from company.

After a 7am coffee and feeling the skirt was a bit short, I got changed and headed to Bunnings for stuff to patch up my leaking roof - todays job, in the rain. Oh, I also washed my nice white top with my red dress, nice white top no longer white 😠
